Posté le 2007-10-16 Le Tachikoma de Bandai de plus près Ce week-end se déroulait un sympathique événement du coté de Makuhari où Bandai avait installé un petit stand et parmi leur catalogue assez conséquent de jouets se trouvait le fameux Tochikoma tiré de Ghost in the Shell. Après une courte prise en main je peux déjà dire que le bestiau est bien réalisé avec environ 60% de pièces en métal mais c'est à peu près tout et le Tachikoma ne sera rien d'autre que le compagnon de votre PC car il ne peut pas plus que simplement bouger ses papates ou ses yeux...déception. Coté relation PC, il peut vous dire l'heure, lire les mails ou lancer quelques applications... Même s'il est moins bien que je pensais, le Tachikoma ravira sans problème les amateurs de la série!

Ce petit bijou sera en premier lieu réalisé en 20000 exemplaires et est déjà en pré commande sur quelques sites. La limite de fabrication n'a pas été annoncée. Il sera libéré à la vente pour la fin du mois de février voir mars en cas de report

La maquette en taille 1/24 (environ 10cm) a été annoncé à un prix de départ de 13400¥ (soit 80€).

Akihabaranews annoncait qu'il peut  "simplement bouger ses papates ou ses yeux" mais nous voulons tout de même apporter des précisions que les vidéos ci-dessus confimre aussi. La seule partie du tachikoma qui bouge tout seul est l'oeil blanc du milieu. Les autres parties du corps sont articulés (pattes, doigts) mais ne bougeront pas toutes seules ! Ainsi il ne marchera pas tout seul contrairement aux infos répendu par certains sites confondant le tachikoma USB de bandai avec le robot cité plus haut.

Le robot sera équipé d'un port USB afin de le relier a son pc. Il pourra ensuite "vous dire l'heure, lire les mails ou lancer quelques applications". La configuration sur votre pc se fait grâce à un logiciel uniquement en version japonaise et la compatibilité n'est pas prouvée sur un autre logiciel qu'un windows japonais.

EDIT : Nous avons maintenant pu tester le logiciel et il marche très bien sous un Win XPro ainsi que sous un Win Vista en français.
